Number of admitted students per year and the dates of the academic year: 
120; October to June

Class size: 
120 for lectures; 60 or 40 for labs; smaller groups for sterile products and other specialist or intensive activities

Courses for foreign students:
Collaborative programme with Taylor’s University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: students undertake first two years in Malaysia and complete the MPharm curriculum at Cardiff.  Masters in International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics with ISF in Germany.

Accredited programmes, courses, PhD slots:
MPharm accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (of Great Britain), a range of postgraduate taught MSc programmes: Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Clinical Practice (Community and Primary Care), Clinical Research and Masters in International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics with ISF in Germany.  60 to 70 slots for PhD students.

Research possibilities:
Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Delivery, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Therapeutics, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Education

47% Hospital, 47% Community, 3% Academic and Research, 2% Industry and 1% Other
